MedicSolution moves eight surgery modules
MedicSolution was commissioned to move eight surgery modules to the Löwenströmska hospital. The modules were previously at Södersjukhuset, and with the move can be reused again. Locum, which bought the modules in 2018, commissioned the move and now the surgery modules are in place and surgeries are being carried out.
In 2015, MedicSolution manufactured the modules in its facility in Sweden and with the move to Löwenströmska, MedicSolution has moved the surgery modules three times.
– This is a very clear example of how flexible and robust our modular buildings are. We build them to meet today’s clinical requirements but also to last for at least 50 years and be able to be moved as many times as needed. This is to be able to contribute with temporary capacity where the need is greatest and to enable a more efficient renovation of existing premises, says Jörgen Stenqvist, sales manager at MedicSolution.
